5 -8-hour Day shifts each week | 13-week assignment

Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including physiology and anatomy knowledge, to determine appropriate therapy strategies.
  • Develop personalized care plans that incorporate evidence-based physiotherapy techniques such as trigger point therapy and orthopedics.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions for various populations, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and those in acute care or outpatient settings.
  • Hospital/LTAC/Rehab in-patient Physical Therapy experience

Experience

  • Proven experience in inpatient hospital settings with a focus on acute care and medical terminology comprehension.
  • Hospital/LTAC/Rehab in-patient Physical Therapy experience
  • Demonstrated success in outpatient clinics or home & community care environments with a strong emphasis on patient care.
  • Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and specialized therapies such as trigger point therapy for musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation and treatment planning purposes.
  • Hands-on experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, orthopedics, and post-surgical patients.
  • Background in discharge planning and developing comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Previous roles involving home health services or outpatient physiotherapy that showcase adaptability across different healthcare settings.
